Hi there, my name is Silvia and I live in a small cute village of the Chianti close to Siena. I am an outhorized city guide of Siena and Florence as well as an outhorized nature guide of Tuscany. I graduated in foreign Languages and Literatures at the University of Siena, English and German. I am an energetic person who loves travel, nature, traditions and good food in Italy, expecially pasta and gelato. . . but not only! Overview of your San Gimignano tour

San Gimignano, a walled village about halfway between Florence and Siena, famous for its medieval towers that rise above of all the surrounding buildings offering an impressive view of the city from the surrounding valley. It could easy result a tourist trap with so many attractive shops, art and crafts! I would like to tell you the history of the town and show you my favorite corners and sites where not many tourists go. The itinerary will be adapted according to your request.

My wife and I have been to San Gimignano many times, but we wanted a guide to show our children and grandchildren the town. Luckily for us, Silva was available, and gave us a very interesting and thorough tour of the town. Her pleasant personality and her engaging way of explaining the history of the town and its relationship to the other cities in Tuscany, was enjoyed by all of us, ages 20-80. We have been to Italy many times, and Silvia was, by far, one of the best guides we have ever had! She also gave us a fantastic tour of Siena the next day. Grazie mille Silvia.
