Overview of your Rome tour

I'll introduce myself with a big smile when we meet! :) This tour offers a unique glimpse into both Pagan and religious life in Rome—something you won't find anywhere else in the world. As a history lover, I'm lucky to live in this incredible city and can't imagine being anywhere else. During our tour, we'll start with the Vatican, where you'll marvel at the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica, home to Michelangelo's masterpieces. After a pizza break, we'll head to the Colosseum, exploring the Roman way of life—blood, cruelty, and entertainment, captured by the Latin phrase "Panem et Circenses" (Bread and Games). You'll learn about gladiators, construction techniques, and the Roman Forum. In one day, you'll also see the Pantheon, and more of Rome’s famous landmarks. A private car will make getting around easy and comfortable, with panoramic views of the city. With almost 3,000 years of history, I’m sure you'll fall in love with the Eternal City!

Our full-day customized tour of Rome with Fabio was amazing! We started with an extensive tour of the Vatican Museums, the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s basilica (including changing of the Swiss Guard), then on to the Pantheon and Colosseum, with some interesting stops along the way. Fabio shared his immense knowledge of Roman history throughout the day, and we learned so much from him. He was so kind and accommodating, adapting the tour to our interests and pace. He arranged transportation by car to maximize the time spent touring, and he knew how to navigate tour groups and avoid lines. We would not hesitate to have him as our tour guide again on future visits to Rome. Highly recommended.

Our tour with Fabio could not have been better. We saw all the high points of Rome at our own pace. My husband has 2 new knees. Fabio accommodated him by driving us as close as possible to the attractions, and requesting assess that avoided stairs and long walks. He arranged a lovely lunch at a great restaurant.
