Overview of your Lipari tour
Discover a different side of Vulcano Island with a private Light Walk, designed for travellers who want to explore its volcanic landscapes without undertaking a demanding hike. After reaching Vulcano from Lipari, we will explore some of the island’s most fascinating natural areas, combining short walks with private 4x4 transfers. Along the way, we will discover volcanic caves, eucalyptus woodland, unusual rock formations, mineral crystals and panoramic terraces. The experience leads to a spectacular viewpoint at around 481 metres above sea level, offering beautiful views over Vulcano, Lipari and the Aeolian archipelago. A relaxed and authentic way to discover the geology, nature and lesser-known landscapes of Vulcano with a local guide.
Your Lipari tour itinerary
The experience begins at Lipari Port, with a short hydrofoil crossing to Vulcano Island. After arrival, we continue by private 4x4 towards the southern and higher part of the island. Our first stop is a peaceful eucalyptus woodland, an unexpected green area where we begin an easy walk surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation and volcanic scenery. We then continue towards the volcanic caves, fascinating natural formations carved into the soft volcanic rock. Here we can observe different colours, minerals and textures while discovering how Vulcano’s geological history shaped this unusual landscape. The final part of the experience takes us towards Monte Saraceno, one of the island’s most panoramic areas. From the viewpoint, around 480 metres above sea level, we can admire Vulcano, Lipari, the surrounding sea and the wider Aeolian archipelago. After enjoying the panorama, we return by 4x4 to Vulcano Port for the hydrofoil back to Lipari.

Vulcano meeting point: guests staying on Vulcano can meet directly at Porto di Levante, near the main harbor area.
