Ciao! I'm Lunella and I live in Tuscany. My name means 'little moon' and it's a fantasy name. The first important civilization of Tuscany was the Etruscan civilization! I'm sure to be Etruscan too!! I'm a left-hand writer like the Etruscans were and I like to enjoy myself like they did. If I look back, all my ancestors were from this land, I feel part of Tuscany and for me, it's the most beautiful place in the world! I studied in Florence "school for tourism" and later I went to England to learn English. I start to work in the tourism as a tour leader in 1991 and I've been travelling all over the world since then. At the end of the 90's I finally started working in my city that I love very much. Elba island is the third largest island in Italy after Sicily and Sardinia and it's part of the Tuscan Archipelago, far only 12 miles from the port of Piombino. The island is especially remembered for having been the home of Napoleon during his 1814/15 exile. The two houses where he lived are some of the most famous tourist attractions of the entire island. But Elba is also a true natural paradise, so beautiful it is hard to describe: blue waters, green landscapes, beautiful hills, all combined with fantastic flora and fauna that make it a true slice of heaven. Choose to spend time on one of its gorgeous beaches; there is truly a beach for every taste. I lived there my youth years so I remember the smell of the sea, the salted lips. You'll enjoy the wonderful view of the four elban seas and other islands of the Tuscan Archipelago as Montecristo, Capraia, Giglio. - Stop in the Village of Porto Azzurro, named the "sitting room of Elba" where you can eat a delicious gelato and shop in the best stores of the island. - Visit of a farm, wine, oil and food tasting. Elba produces: DOC wines, the dessert wine Aleatico, extra virgin olive oil and many other genuine products. - Drive back to Portoferraio.
