Overview of your Alba tour
Discover the Langhe through its breathtaking landscapes, charming villages and world-famous wines on a private half-day tour. Travelling by private vehicle, we will cross vineyard-covered hills and visit one of the area’s most beautiful villages, such as Barolo, La Morra, Neive or Barbaresco, depending on the selected winery and your interests. Along the way, I will share the history, traditions and stories behind this unique wine region. The highlight of the experience will be a guided visit to a local wine estate, followed by a tasting of selected wines. The tour can be personalized according to the season, winery availability and your wine preferences.
Your Alba tour itinerary
I will pick you up in Alba or at your accommodation in the Langhe area. From there, we will travel by private vehicle towards either the Barolo or Barbaresco wine region, depending on the location of the selected winery. Our first stop will be at a panoramic viewpoint overlooking the vineyards, castles and hilltop villages. We will then enjoy a short walk through one of the area’s most characteristic towns, such as La Morra, Barolo, Neive or Barbaresco, with time to discover its historic centre and local atmosphere. We will continue to a selected winery for a guided visit of the wine cellar. You will learn how the wines are produced and aged, and discover the characteristics of the local grape varieties. The winery experience will conclude with a tasting of selected wines. After the tasting, I will accompany you back to Alba or to your accommodation. Please note: the exact route and village visited may vary according to winery availability, traffic conditions and the season.
