I am a 7th generation Israeli, a tour guide (since 1978) and an archaeologist (1985). Along these years I guided thousands of people. Guiding is my full-time work and passion. English (fluent), Mandarin Chinese and Hebrew (fluent). I am an expert in archaeology, history, bible (Old and New Testaments), wine tours, photography and birds watching. As a part of my PhD, I am excavating (4 seasons) at Kursi Beach, a biblical period port city on the eastern bank of the Sea of Galilee. For transportation on the tours, I use an authorized vehicle (by the Ministry of Tourism) for private tours - Chevrolet Suburban (1+7). My approach is realistic and traditional at the same time. I am funny, sensitive and very patient with my clients of all ages. I was an area manager on archaeological excavation sites, including the famous site at Shiloh. As the Head of the East Asia Department of the Israel School of Tourism (by Haifa University), I am leading Israeli tour guides in Chinese language and culture studies. I guide in Israel, Egypt and Jordan and lead groups to Europe, Morocco and on Mediterranean cruises. Key Contributions: • Educational approach of both realistic and traditional perspectives, using humor and sensitivity. • Combining vast knowledge of Israel's history and archaeology with computer skills, creating series of multimedia presentations of biblical archaeology. Presentations incorporate Biblical texts with archaeology and geography of ancient and contemporary Israel. • Adjusted approach to all ages and group structures. As an educator, guiding clients from different countries, religions and backgrounds. • Infusing my tourists and audience with love to Israel and its heritage All my tours can be customized, please feel free to contact me if you have any questions Licensed Tour Guide by the Israeli Ministry of Tourism Public Transportation Driver License Member of WFTGA - World Federation of Tourist Guide Association No restrictions apply to my tours

First Day: Welcome to the city of contrasts; sacred and secular, small and great, black and white but multicolored; A city where a modern road follows an ancient path that was paved by biblical patriarchs. 3, 000 years of Jerusalem's history is uncovered before us as we wander through the city's ancient and modern areas. Biblical traditions and stories, that become reality in front of our astounded eyes. As an archaeologist and a tour guide, after so many years, I still marvel at it over and over again. I will introduce you to my personal friends; they are the real heart of Jerusalem. After today, you will also consider them friends. Second Day: Setting out to explore the Dead Sea region. As Low as It Goes: We'll drive to the Dead Sea Basin, 1412 feet below sea level and the lowest place on earth. The desert, the landscape, and the views are breathtaking. The Last Stand: Take the cable car to the top of Masada with its extraordinary views and fascinating archaeological remains. An UNESCO World Heritage site.
