Limerick to Loop Head: Kilkee Cliffs & Ireland's Wild Atlantic Edge

Fáilte romhaibh — welcome. I’m Emmet, guide tour offering private chauffeur driven, small-group tours and photography experiences across the West of Ireland. On my tours I wanted to combine three things I genuinely love : Ireland, photography, and meeting people from different parts of the world. I’ve always loved showing people places that mean something to me, and there’s something particularly rewarding about seeing Ireland through the eyes of someone experiencing it for the first time. Whether it’s standing on a remote stretch of the Wild Atlantic Way, exploring a small heritage town or village, discovering a great local pub, or simply stopping somewhere because the view is too good to pass, those are the moments I want my guests to remember. Alongside my tours, I currently work full-time in private aviation at Shannon Airport, where I have spent several years working with international private aviation clients and crews. That experience has given me a strong understanding of what travellers expect from a professional service — and, just as importantly, what makes a great experience feel effortless. Working in private aviation has taught me the importance of punctuality, discretion, attention to detail, flexibility and professionalism. I’m used to dealing with people from all over the world, often with very different expectations. I understand that good service is about paying attention to the small details, and I bring that same approach to my tours. I am a fully licenced and insured chauffeur so my tours are private and flexible, allowing me to adapt the day around the people I’m travelling with — whether that means spending longer somewhere particularly interesting, finding a quieter alternative to a busy attraction, or making an unplanned stop because we’ve spotted something worth seeing. Photography is another important part of what I offer. I’ve been passionate about photography for many years, and I enjoy finding the landscapes, locations and moments that tell a story. For guests who want more than holiday snapshots, I can incorporate professional-style photography into their experience, whether they are travelling as a couple, family or solo, And for fellow photographers we can tailor your itinerary to incorporate the right locations during blue or golden hour so you can photograph Ireland in the best lighting for you. My focus is primarily on the West of Ireland, where I have grown up and am now raising my own children, an area I know and love. From the Wild Atlantic Way and the West Clare coastline to Galway, Connemara and beyond, I aim to show guests more than the headline attractions — while still making sure the day is comfortable, well organised and enjoyable. For me, the best tours don’t feel like a tour at all. They feel like spending a day exploring Ireland with someone who knows the area, enjoys meeting people, and takes pride in making sure you have a great experience.
