Hello! Native of the island, passionate of nature, art and gastronomy, My name is Judi and I am happy to introduce you my sweet Guadeloupe! My goal is to offer different tour proposals to enjoy the best of what the « island of the beautiful waters » has to offer, from its most famous sights to its most hidden pearls. In Caribbean style with no pressure, we will see wonderful places which will awaken your senses! Well known for having the most beautiful finest white sandy beaches borded with coconut trees, the Southern Grande Terre area is also an artistic, cultural and crafts cradle. I like going to the Spot of la Datcha to enjoy a traditional sorbet or some coconut water, admiring the view over Basse Terre Coast, its Mountains chain and the islands composing the Guadeloupean archipelago, while feeling the marine breeze. So refreshing! Aquaholic and natural food lover, beginning my days by swimming in Sainte Anne's clear turquoise waters before going on its Market, pick up fresh veggies, interacting with the producers, discover new dishes and other handmade stuffs is incredibly rejuvenated. As a bonus, I sometimes even take a ride to Pointe des Châteaux to feel its huge strenght and energy. Beathtaking! All those opportunities always make me so grateful for living in such a wealthy Island. So let's explore together this paradise by sharing some of my favorite places but also its Key spots and hidden pearls!
Beginning our Tour with the stunning spot of la Datcha in Gosier to admire the "Tiny Island" with its crown reef, Basse Terre Southern East Coast and 3 of the islands composing the Guadeloupean archipelago. Continue our trip driving along the Coast to reach the balnear town of Sainte Anne, its seafront avenue and typical market for local handmade crafts discoveries with an optional tasting. Then, as a must-see, Pointe des Châteaux is waiting for us with its magnificent wild viewpoint where the Atlantic Ocean embraces the extrem eastern tip of the Island with la Désirade in background! To enrich our journey, we will visit the Coconut House, a fine Rum cellar and a famous savory local confectioner' shop. And during the harvesting season the Distillery or Gardel sugarcane Factory could also be a good option to discover the freshly made products while directly immersed through the process! Of course our itinerary remain flexible and can be customized to suit your interests, so feel free to contact me!
