Hello! Native of the island, passionate of nature, art and gastronomy, My name is Judi and I am happy to introduce you my sweet Guadeloupe! My goal is to offer different tour proposals to enjoy the best of what the « island of the beautiful waters » has to offer, from its most famous sights to its most hidden pearls. There are so many breathtaking places to discover and fun activities to do, there is definitely something for everyone to enjoy. ▪ Museums, distilleries, gourmet taste tour ▪ Botanical, creole and lavish gardens, some specializing in indigenous medicinal plants ▪ Hiking, horseback riding, water riding or, for an unusual experience, flying over and discovering the surrounding islands like Marie galante, les Saintes, la Désirade and others. ▪ Of course it is possible to simply ride an A/C car to discover some local spots then have sea/river bath and chill. In Caribbean style with no pressure, we will see wonderful places which will awaken your senses! As your private guide, I am flexible and open minded, so I will easily make the adjustments to cater to your preferences, making your experience unique and filled with unforgettable memories. All tours are customizable and I can adapt our itinerary depending on the amount of time that we have, weather, traffic and of course, on your suggestions. They included a free pick-up from the harbor or from your hotel (located in the Pointoise area). Also, all of them are available for group smaller or larger than 4 person, kindly send a request and I will make an accurate quote. This tour is a classic of the cocoa, coffee and wood history, culture and crafts. We will make 3 master visits : ▪︎The "Habitation Côte sous le Vent", a Creole House with Colonial architecture dedicated to Woods, crafts and cabinetry surrounding by a tropical garden ▪︎The Cocoa House to learn about the culture and exploitation of the dedicated fruit and the complete chocolate making process ▪︎The Coffee Museum with history, culture and crafts of arabica coffee and cocoa for a pleasant visit We can also enjoy few several stops : •The black sandy Beach of Malendure •The viewpoint of the Ilet Pigeon in the Costeau reserve •The hot water of the Bains chauds for an optional bath •The rainforest/mountain views •Rivers crossing our road Making souvenir pictures/videos!
Your Pointe A Pitre tour itinerary
Leaving Grande Terre for the West Coast of the island to reach the "Habitation Côte sous le Vent" with its Creole House and Colonial architecture, it is dedicated to Woods, crafts and cabinetry, has a naval gallery, tropical garden and Butterflies collection to complement the visit of the Main house. Also, it is actually the only place in the Caribbean where you can have a bike ride in the Tree! Then we will go to the Cocoa House of Pointe Noire to learn about the culture and exploitation of the fruit named Cabosse and the chocolate making process, with a fine local tasting at the end of the course. Continue our tour driving along the coast to reach the Coffee Museum in the town of Vieux Habitants, crossing between history, culture, and crafts for a charming visit ending with a flavor coffee/cocoa taste. On our way back, we will make a stop to the "bains chauds" with its natural hot water located at the Doors of the Caribbean sea with an optional bath while looking at the panoramic view.
