Please reach out to me for the best experience in Saint-Malo and the surroundings (note, I don't do tours to Mont Saint Michel) I am a very passionate and enthusiactic tour guide and I am an outgoing person. I love showing my magnificent region to people coming from other countries, because I also love speaking foreign languages like english or german and meeting people from abroad! I am a native from the Saint-Malo region and I love hiking along the Rance estuary which I know like my pocket! I have had a varied career and I spent 12 years in Germany because of my passion for foreign languages and cultures and then I got to be a tourist guide as a freelance in my loved homeland. I'm willing to share my knowledge and passion about the wonderful landscape which surrounds me here and wants to show you the best places to be and to enjoy throughout the year! My Forefathers worked the land and fished in the seas around this beautiful place, so my heart beat for Brittany. I can show you hidden treasures of the Saint-Malo region and the Emerald Coast. If you want to discover our region, culture, history and impressive landscapes, I will accompany you with joy and enthusiasm throughout the best places of my region! Indeed I am also a keen walker and take great pleasure in introducing visitors to our wonderful coastal and upland scenery. I am happy to take you and your group on planned tours or I can arrange tailor-made tours according to your preferences. I welcome inquiries and am able to build you a bespoke tour that includes interests you may have! I have the official license as a guide in French, English and German languages I am also an official translator in these 3 languages I have a Master in "International relationship" and I have also a licence to teach German at the University ("Capes") I don't go to the Mont Saint-Michel

Follow me through the walled privateer city, where legend and reality meets! I will show you the most authentical and old mansions and buildings which testify that the city was long a stronghold for privateers (pirates the king approved of). We will thoroughly enjoy the cobbled streets of Saint Malo's old town, and you will get an authentic glimpse into Brittany's rich seafaring past. We are also going to visit the Cathedrale, a French national monument, whose impressive spire can be seen from miles away. Then, we will take a stroll along the ramparts, historic building built in 1689 by the military architect Vauban to protect the port of Saint-Malo, to enjoy beautiful views of the harbor and I will tell you about the most famous personalities of the city like Chateaubriand, Robert Surcouf, Jacques Cartier and show you tidal islands just outside the city. Here you'll enjoy the most breathtaking view of the port of Saint-Malo, so you can immerse yourself in our maritime culture.
- Main entrance gate Saint-Malo - The Château of the Dukes of Brittany - The authentic cobbled street with the mansion of the 16th/17th and 18th century - The cathedral and its impressive spire - The ramparts with the wonderful sea view - The gourmet streets - The port and the history of the regatta Route du Rhum - Places where the book "all the light we cannot see " takes place Please do not hesitate to contact me as I can customize the tour for you!
