Bonjour! Living in Beaujolais between Lyon and Burgundy, the perfect place to mix good food and good wine. I felt in love with the region not only because of the wine also because the countryside is really beautiful and it changes all along the year. I spent nearly all my life along the river Saône , except one year in Spain to study and one in Nothern Ireland to teach. I studied History of Art at the University, just before to become an official tour guide in 2014. I try to communicate my passion for heritage as well as wine. But the most important thing always is to remeber that the guests have a good time with a mix of everything, good food, good beverage, good atmosphere, beautiful landscape and heritage and good commentaries. Being a tour guide is about passion and curiosity, that's why I try to learn more and more about Lyon, Beaujolais and Burgundy. It could be recipes, lifestyle (in past time and now), geology and architecture. I like to read, to learn and discover but most of all I love speaking! I always do the tours the way I would want to have them if I was travelling. Hope to see you soon in Beaujolais and Burgundy I am not a driver. Overview of your Macon tour
Experience the castle life, enjoy the good side of visiting such a place! Explore the southern part of Burgundy, Mâconnais, and enjoy a first stop in the château de Pierreclos, a medieval castle and a vineyard where you will tour the castle just before to go for a tasting. The chapel is from the 10th century, this is the oldest part remaining. The main building is a mix of architecture from the 15th to the 18th century. It belongs today to a winemakers family trying to preserve the place and show the best of it. Here, you will feel the atmosphere of living in a 17th century castle in château de Cormatin, a well preserved castle showing appartement from the 17th century and exceptionnal Jardins à la française. The owners have been restoring and mantaining this place since 1981 as it was in the 17th century as most of the decoration was well preserved and hidden behind dust. Visit the marquise appartement and feel the atmosphere of the 17th century.
