Our guide Lola was fantastic. She showed us Corsica in a way we could not have experienced without her. She shared her considerable knowledge about the island, its history and culture, and she customized the tour to suit our interests. When she learned that we loved music, she took us to a Corsican concert in town, which gave us a flavor of what local life was like, with young and old clapping and dancing in the street to the rousing music. It was a magical evening and an unforgettable trip.

We spent a full day (our third in a row) with gracious and knowledgeable L'Ola exploring a small slice of Corsica. This journey, customized to fit our needs and adjusted due to weather conditions earlier in our stay took us to breathtaking vistas high in the mountains, Bronze Age ruins, picturesque villages and lunch at a traditional mountain restaurant with hearty local food. While it was a bit of time in the car, we never lacked for conversation topics. Truly an expert guide-one of the best.

Lola (Olga) gave us wonderful tour of the Bonifacio area. As we were a party of 8 coming off a ship, our timetable and size added complexity to the tour. Lola's communications were excellent and she constructed a fabulous private tour that met our hiking, sightseeing, history, and dining goals.
