Next stop will be at Monte Igeldo that offered the best overview of SAN SEBASTIÁN before joining the old town for a Pintxos tour. End the day in Spain's FONTARRABIE (Hondarribia), a fortified town with lively squares and cobbled streets. Day 2: Explore BAYONNE, a medieval city rich in culture, before heading inland. Visit ESPELETTE, known for its red peppers, AINHOA, one of France's most beautiful villages, continue with picturesque SARE at the foot of the mountains. End the day at BIDART a traditional fisherman village. Day 3: Head into the Basque highlands to the IROULEGUY vineyards, the region's only AOC wine. In the ALDUDE Valley, discover the Basque pig and taste exceptional ham. Then visit BANCA to sample trout raised in pristine waters. Finish in SAINT JEAN PIED DE PORT, a key stop on the Camino de Santiago.
