Hello everyone, My name is Andreea and I am a tour guide in Corsica since 2017. I discovered this Mediterranean island in 2013 when I started to study at the University of Corsica. I immediately fell in love with this beautiful place and decided to make it my home. I have always been passionate about discovering places, people and their culture, and Corsica offered me exactly what I was looking for: extraordinary natural places, mountains and sea at an unimaginable proximity, welcoming people with a very rich history and culture, a Mediterranean gastronomy "spiced" with countless mountain dishes, all in short everything that I needed for a healthy lifestyle. Being a tour guide in Corsica is by far the greatest things for me because it comes verry naturally for me to share my enthusiasm, the joy of living on this extraordinary island and all the knowledge that I have acquired. It is one of those few places offering that very special something which we're all seeking during our holidays, whether we want to relax or test our limits and have unforgettable memories. Corsica is a place to discover in all seasons and I consider myself lucky to be able to live here and to have the opportunity to share with you the best of what I have experienced so far working as a local tour guide. All my tours can be customized upon request please feel free to contact me and I'll get back to you as soon as possible. Begin your visit in Bastia at the Genoese Citadel also known as Terra Nova, built in the late 1300s. The breathtaking Pro-Cathedral of Santa Maria stands as a testament to the city’s spiritual grandeur, and just a few steps away, the serene Chapel of Santa Croce enchants visitors with its intimate beauty. We will wander down into Terra Vecchia, the historic old town, with medieval streets and artisan shops. Passing through the old port we will walk to the Market Square where we can try local products. We will visit the Saint-Jean-Baptiste Church the largest church of Corsica, and also take time to admire the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception, a true gem of Corsica. We'll continue strolling along Rue Napoléon, a lively commercial street, and finish at Saint-Nicolas Square, where you can relax at the sunny café terraces facing the Port and the sea.
We start at the Cruise Port and walk along the seafront to the Old Port, where we’ll visit the Genoese Citadel, Terra Nova. After exploring the Citadel, we return to the Old Port and wander through the old Corsican quarter, full of charming churches, Market Square, and local shops. We then walk back to the Cruise Port, passing through Place Saint-Nicolas with its cafés and monuments.
Tell your guide which places matter to you, skip what doesn't, and tailor the experience for your group's needs. Not finding what you want? Message your guide to build something unique.
