Let's discover the unique Lappish nature and Sami culture in Salla, Lapland next to the Russian border, 112 km from Kuusamo! Salla offers a variety of nature experiences and outdoor activities: the landscapes vary from fells to bogs and ancient forests. During this excursion you will get to know the forest sami culture of Salla, local historic culture and reindeer life. This wonderful Lappish nature tour covers everything you want to learn about the nature and wildlife: we will visit at the Salla Nature / Art Center! Here you may purchase local art, souvenirs and nature products. After the local delicacy lunch (included), we will visit the Winter and Continuation War Museum, the old wartime railway and the Salpa defense line. Finally you will have a chance to feed the reindeer at the local reindeer farm.
