Kallurin Lighthouse full day private tour

Here’s a warm and personal review you can post or share: ⸻ We had an unforgettable experience touring the Faroe Islands with our guide! He showed us the entire island, giving us not just the sights but the heart and soul of the place. What made this tour truly special was the personal touch—he welcomed us into his home, where we enjoyed authentic Faroese food and even got a private concert as he played guitar and sang in the Faroese language. It was a beautiful, cultural, and deeply meaningful experience. We saw breathtaking landscapes, learned so much about the history and daily life of the islands, and felt like we were spending the day with a friend rather than a tour guide. Highly recommended!

Rani is fantastic. His tour proved to be exhilarating and provided exquisite views, Faroese history and culture, stories, and great conversation. He introduced us to wonderful people, provided an exquisite traditional meal, and embodied positive energy. Conversation was rich and fun. As a musician, chess player, and raconteur with a deep knowledge of current and historic world events, Rani could not have been better company! Thank you, Rani!!

Simply put, an amazing day. Rani is a true gem. He proudly invited us (literally) into his family home, prepared snacks and tea, and shared his Faroese culture and experiences throughout our day. Honestly, we have no idea how anyone would be able to do the lighthouse hike without a guide. Rani made the trek fun and we felt secure in his care. We also had time to explore another island by car as well. After nearly 70 countries, one of our favorite guide experiences of all-time!

What a great day we had with Rani today! Communication leading up to our visit was great and met us right on time. With a warm and friendly personality, he took us to many villages on the islands and some amazing vantage points with lots of history and info along the way. He took us to a great spot for lunch and a a surprise for a coffee and sweet waffle in the afternoon. Clean and comfy vehicle. Cannot say one negative thing about today. What a lovely place and a great tour guide!

Fantastic. A super knowledgeable 'everyman' with endless stories about the Faroe Islands and its gorgeous surroundings, to tournament rowing on the island, to an appreciation for Jazz music in New Orleans and his desire to travel to the United States. The tour guiding was A+, the hiking was A+, the meeting his mother and father in law before the hike, also A+. Thank you!!
