I am an active professional tour guide who prides himself on my ability to add personal touches to every tour I conduct. It is extremely important to me that my guests return home with experiences to remember. I have many years of experience in guiding tours all over Egypt's cities. As an Egyptology Specialist with several contacts and years of experience, I'm able to help travelers with their plans and itineraries. I have several years working with people from all around the world, showing them what we have here. I'm also currently teaching in a University where I work with very important professionals in the world of my field. I am looking to have more travellers giving that I can provide the opportunity to enjoy unforgettable visits to my country, so I can also do my part to contribute to the local economy bringing more people to Egypt. I started my studies in 1993 at Cairo University, where I graduated in 1997, acquiring a diploma that was followed by a Master's degree in Egyptology. I studied with Dr. Lens Zou, once Dean of the Chicago Institute in Luxor, from whom I learned a lot about the secrets of this ancient civilization. Then I worked in many archaeological missions and exploratory and touristic trips as well. Dr. Hassan Khalil also had a great influence on me after the death of Dr. Lens, and I have worked since 2002 as a guide for different groups of tourists, including American, Spanish, Italian and Brazilian, until today. Licensed Tour Guide with over 20 years of experience. Master's Degree in Egyptology University Professor of Egyptology -We will have a vehicle from a legalized and modern tourism company with a hired professional driver for our tours, I will be solely guiding you in all places.

Combine a morning in Dendara, where you can visit the Temple of Hathor, before continuing for an afternoon of sightseeing in Abydos, home to "The Cult of Osiris". This is a holy place and burial ground where most ancient Egyptians would have gone to make a pilgrimage at least once in their lifetime. The first kings of the politically unified egyptian state are buried here. We'll visit the Temple of Hathor, goddess of pleasure and love who was generally shown as a cow, or as a woman with a cow's head. The temple's enclosure walls are built by mud-bricks and date back to the Roman era. Within the walls is where we'll find not only the temple but also 2 birth houses, a Coptic Basilica, a sanitarium, a sacred lake and the Temple of the Birth of Isis. This other temple has a long disputed history, some saying that Pharaoh Pepi I (the 3rd King from Egypt's 6th Dynasty) rebuilt the temple, while other texts refer to a reconditioning carried out by Thutmose III, Amenhotep III and Rameses II & III (New Kingdom).
-Early in the morning, we'll drive to Dendara, which is 65 km north of Luxor, to visit the temple of the goddess Hathor, located on the western side of the Nile. -We'll approach this temple passing by a path between 2 Roman fountains that end at its massive entry gate. -After visit this temple, which roughly takes between one and a half to two hours, we'll get on our vehicle again and head 150 km north from the Qena Governorate (where the temple is located), to the Sohag Governorate, in which the Temple of Osiris (the God of Life After Death) is located. -On arrival to the area, we'll visit the temple of Osiris and its surroundings, which include: ·The Seven Chapels for the 7 main Gods of Egyptian Mythology. 7 is a very canonic number. ·The Temple of Osireion, which showcases stones aged at over five thousand years. ·The Temple of Ramses II, with its famous sinking room. ·The Calendar of the Pharaohs, a list of each one to have reigned. -At last, we'll return to Luxor again. Customizable itinerary.
