Gustavo is kind, knowledgeable and extremely flexible - out small group had special things we wanted to do in our limited time - he made sure that we did all that we requested and so much more. If/when we go back, I would leave the day in Gustavo's hands - it just could not have been better!

Gustavo is a first-rate guide. He has a very impressive knowledge of the history and culture of Manta and environs. He also presents the tour information in a way that is interesting. And his easy going style is fully appreciated. Finally, he is fully prepared to accommodate those with limited mobility. Well-done Gustavo!

Gustavo, was our tour guide in Ecuador, and it was a lovely tour. The communication between us was excellent and his English was very good with a strong voice as my husband is hearing impaired. We got to experience many different parts during our short tour of Ecuador. We got a sample of the Panama hat making, vegetable ivory, sisal making items, the market, it was very enjoyable we highly recommend this tour with Gustavo.

Gustavo provided us with a wonderful tour of Manta and Monterchristi. His English is excellent and he has an expansive vocabulary as he spent a year as an exchange student in Indiana and then worked at the US base in Manta with the technical support group. We spent time at the fish market and also visited the small business that turns Tagus nuts into ivory-like buttons, jewelry and figurines. Another highlight was the small museum where they demonstrated how organic jute bags (and other products) were made from a agave like plant for shipping coffee before the advent of plastic bags. Organic bags are making a come back but use modern machines. We visited other sites, learning about the history of Ecuador , and watched the process of making Panama hats, and more! The entire tour was extremely engaging and all very interesting. All in all it was a delightful day.

Our guide, Gustavo, took us to many out of the way places and sights that I cannot list them all. We have had many guides all over the world but Gustavo is one of the best you will ever find. Hw is highly recommended.

We had a wonderful experience with Gustavo! He was so warm, friendly and professional and gave us an experience that was second to none! He was very prompt in his replies to my correspondence and designed a day that exceeded our expectations. He took the time to find out what was important to us and delivered. He arranged interaction with several locals and we learned about their specialities that are unique to Manta and Montecristi areas. We are bringing home lots of wonderful memories and new friends.
