Our tour with Henry was the highlight of our entire trip! He made us feel welcome and taught us a lot about the history and culture of the Dominican Republic and life in Puerto Plata. His driver Raul did an excellent job navigating traffic safely and we got to see many of the amazing things Puerto Plata has to offer, from the rainforest garden to the downtown area. I am a manual wheelchair user and greatly appreciated Henry's attention to accessibility. The van had plenty of room in the back to store my wheelchair and he guided us up and down many ramps at every place where we stopped. We had a fabulous time and I cannot wait to visit the DR again to do an even longer tour with Henry.

We had an amazing day with Henry in Puerto Plata! He was a perfect tour guide for our family of five. He was attentive and accommodating for our children, ages 10, 7, annd 5. Henry personalized the day to some requests we had and also offered great suggestions of places to go that he thought the kids would like. We chose this tour as a result of our ship not allowing our grandson to do the ship's tour, as he was 6 weeks short of the age requirement. That set me looking for a replacement, and did we find it! Henry was absolutely amazing, taking to time to understand that we wanted a little customization, and he delivered exactly what we hoped for. Starting with The Redeemer statue, all the way to the old fort, and all in between, Henry was right on top of everything, super knowledgeable, and as gracious and personable as could be. I believe the ship did my family a HUGE favor. We had an absolutely amazing day!

My family and I had a great tour of Puerto Plata with Henry and Alberto. From the second we were greeted at the port gate to the closing remarks, we felt like part of their family. Our tour was completely customizable from start to finish. From the peaks of Isabel de Torres with Christ the Reedemer (DR style) to our family style lunch at Cocolimon (delicious shrimp, chicken, sausage, rice/beans, salad, fries), Henry and Alberto went out of their way to give us the best possible experience.
