Come and enjoy the Ron Macorix experience! In Casa Ron Macorix, you'll learn about the history and the process of fermentation, distillation and rum aging in oak barrels. You'll also get to try 7 different flavors! Once you try some, you won't want to stop taking more rounds! Another highlight of this tour is The Amber Museum, which is dedicated to amber, a type of fossilized tree resin found in the Dominican Republic. Here you'll have the opportunity to get to know our national stone, Larimar. You should not leave without taking your photo when visiting the beautiful street of the Umbrella, a colorful place surrounded by flowers and contagious music. We'll also walk to the historic Indepence Park, where we'll find beautiful Victorian style buildings, restaurants and a Cathedral. Our grand finale will be in our star coco limon restaurant where you'll have 3 different options to choose what you want to eat! (typical Dominican food)

-The tour will start with us meeting at your hotel or port, either the Amber cove or the Puerto Taino Bay. -We'll then depart to the Macorix rum factory, where you'll be able to taste seven different drinks. -After about 15 minutes driving, we will arrive at the Amber Museum, where the most precious Larimar stones from the Dominican Republic are exhibited. -Then we will walk to the street of the umbrella. -Next, we will visit the pink alley. -Later, we will walk to the Independence Park. -Afterwards, we will go to the most famous restaurant in Maimon for some food tasting to close out the experience. -Finally, we will return to the port or to your hotel.
