Hello! Welcome to my page and thanks for checking me out! My name is Romulo and I am excited to have this opportunity to be your personal tour guide while you are visiting the Dominican Republic. I was born in the Dominican Republic and raised in New York City, but I came back to be with my family in 2001. I have great insight about my country and the culture because it is mine; I am not a transplanted person trying to adapt to something new. I am authentic, just like the experiences I can offer to you. I have a long history of guiding and client services as I have many years of experience working as a guide for tour groups all over the Dominican Republic and occasionally into Haiti. I also have extensive experience as a private driver for VIP and executive visitors to the Dominican Republic. These experiences combined have given me my qualities as a professional guide/driver all while doing what I love- working with and serving clients in a field that has the flexibility to be different each day. Enjoy an evening out on the town in La Romana- living and passing the time with the locals for an authentic cultural experience. We will begin the evening in a relaxed local restaurant with a full-service bar, billiards room, and cigar room. Here you will have your choice of and drinks along with some great conversation to ease into your full-immersion cultural experience. Your will be offered indoor/outdoor seating as well as the opportunity to get up and dance as the music inspires you to move-it move-it. Your third stop is another hot spot where you can relax and play a game of Dominoes with some locals or for the confident souls a game of Jenga in front of the crowd! We will close out the tour at another culturally unique experience with this open-air establishment that's known for a pleasant crowd that's always ready to dance and have fun. As we return to your pick-up/drop-off point there are opportunities to grab a bite from any number of street vendors offering yet another authentic experience.
