Hello! Welcome to my page and thanks for checking me out! My name is Romulo and I am excited to have this opportunity to be your personal tour guide while you are visiting the Dominican Republic. I was born in the Dominican Republic and raised in New York City, but I came back to be with my family in 2001. I have great insight about my country and the culture because it is mine; I am not a transplanted person trying to adapt to something new. I am authentic, just like the experiences I can offer to you. I have a long history of guiding and client services as I have many years of experience working as a guide for tour groups all over the Dominican Republic and occasionally into Haiti. I also have extensive experience as a private driver for VIP and executive visitors to the Dominican Republic. These experiences combined have given me my qualities as a professional guide/driver all while doing what I love- working with and serving clients in a field that has the flexibility to be different each day. Overview of your La Romana tour
You will begin your experience by visiting one of most busiest handmade cigar factory in the country. Experience the sounds, sights, and aroma behind the creation of these fine products- each one made by the careful hand of an experienced crafter. Next up, you will move on to visit another location to indulge yourselves with more of our guilty pleasures, Chocolate and Coffee Factory. Some of the most delicious and aromatic experiences in the Dominican Republic are visiting the chocolate and coffee factory and then allowing yourself a tasty treat! Once again- after the tour, you are encouraged to purchase some of these local products to enjoy at your leisure. You will now be able to stretch out, relax, and enjoy a fresh meal from a local family-owned restaurant along the sea. Excellent food, excellent service, and excellent views right in the center of Pueblo Bayahibe. After the meal, there are many street-side shops for picking up those souvenirs you need to bring back for friends and family.
