I was born in the Dominican Republic and raised in New York City, but I came back to be with my family in 2001. I have a long history of guiding and client services as I have many years of experience working as a guide for tour groups all over the Dominican Republic and occasionally into Haiti. I also have extensive experience as a private driver for VIP and executive visitors to the Dominican Republic. These experiences combined have given me my qualities as a professional guide/driver all while doing what I love- working with and serving clients in a field that has the flexibility to be different each day. Are you looking for a day of exploring the natural beauty in the interior of Dominican Republic? Tired of only seeing the typical pre-packaged one size fits all type of excursion? Are you feeling a little bit adventurous but still want to relax? This is the tour you are looking for! This tour takes you from where the river meets the sea to upstream into the rural and forested parts of the region, stopping and allowing you to disembark and explore on foot, swim in the river, or just kick back on the boat and enjoy the views. After your stop to swim and explore you will begin back down river (having lunch aboard the sternwheeler) where you can take advantage of the time let loose and dance to the music on the open floorplan of the boat making some unforgettable memories and then having one more stop at a riverside café for another chance to explore, meet the locals, and have a coffee break. Overall this is one tour that is certainly unique and different from the rest- the luxury of being totally private!
