Cesky Krumlov is a unique experience, I hope I can make you as enthusiastic about this city as I became after several visits, so much, that I decided to move here. And I have lived quite some places: learned english as a child in California, studied and lived for eight years in Paris, and grown up in Budapest. I am a real central-european: none of my grand parents birthplace is in today's Hungary, but all came from the formal Austro-Hungarian Empire. This same mixture is what makes Krumlov - or Krummau - so unique and of course, it's history and (fortunate or unfortunate) eternal second place in Bohemia. When we meet I will ask you questions about what you have visited, Prague or Austria, and what you do or are interested in. I do my best to tailor my tour to your interests and avoid repeating things you might have already heard. The advantage of a private tour is the real dialogue between local and visitor, and I will answer all your questions - never hesitate to ask. Some things might seem obvious for me but very strange for you. My background - art history, philosophy - and my love for this city will hopefully help you to make of your days or hours in South Bohemia an unforgettable trip. For daytrippers, well - you will have to deal with many other visitors, but for those staying overnight, be patient, after 5-4pm the city gets calmer, and you will be able to enjoy the river shore terraces and the famous czech beer at your pace. Hope to meet you soon in Cesky Krumlov! Eszter provided a wonderful tour, filled with history and insight into art and culture. Her route exceeded our expectations - we saw the popular spots and the areas off the beaten path. Eszter was very responsive to our questions, and she was sensitive to our pace. After the tour we walked around on our own, finding our way easily because of the landmarks she showed us, and visiting places that she had pointed out as of additional interest. We followed her dinner recommendation and it was delicious! We enjoyed our time with her and our conversations. Eszter provided the perfect introduction to Cesky Krumlov! Thank you!

Splendid tour. Exactly as we had requested. Eszter has an encyclopedic knowledge of everything. And she conveys that knowledge in understandable ways.

Words can't describe how grateful I am towards Eszter. I organised this tour for my parents who have some walking disabilities and she went out of her way to accommodate them. She did the tour on a slower pace. She did the trouble to pick them up and return them to Ceske Budejovice station and waited until the they boarded the train. They were so happy with her as a guide and cant stop complimenting her about her knowledge and passion for Cesky Krumlov. Thank you Eszter, you are mostly recommended.

We very much enjoyed our walking tour of Cesky Krumlov with Eszter. It was great to be able to have a verbal history of not only the City but for its history to be put in context against the much wider history of the Czech Republic. Unfortunately Monday was the only day we had available and inside castle is not open on a Monday and we chose not to climb the tower due to the rain, none of which was Eszter's fault! We covered much of the City, asked lots of questions, and learnt a lot.

Eszter was friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. Due to a misundersstanding we were late for our tour and because she had a commitment following our tour, she shortened our tour and adjusted the cost. She went out of her way to show us places we requested. It was a win-win. She also helped us buy tickets for the Baroque threater ( website only in Czech), Castle Tour and the Regiojet bus from Cesky Krumlov to Prague. Highly recommend her services.
