Hello, my name is Patrik and I am a native Czech speaker, living in Brno, the second city of Czech republic and the capital of Moravia. I was born in Brno and grew up here, my relationship to this city is therefore very intimate. I've been traveling quite a lot since I was a child, because my mother is Czech, while my father is French. I used to work two years in an office, but I realized that it is not a job for me: I need to move outside and talk to people, which suits perfectly guide's profession. After obtaining the following certificates - Guide in Czech Republic, Guide in Prague and Guide in South Moravian Region, I became a freelance certified guide. I am focused on letting people discover a location not only by eyes and with a camera, but also by showing its curiosities, telling special stories and legends, tasting food and drink. Simply, to discover a place with all the senses, without rush. That's why, after a while, I enriched my experience in wine-tourism. South Moravia is a very interesting wine-growing and wine-making region, which is not really known abroad. Definitely undeserved reputation! If you'd like to visit Brno and its monuments, or the South Moravian Region, famous not only for sights in UNESCO and beer, but also for its wine production (the region provides about 96% wine production in Czech republic), or you are simply curious to find Czech and Moravian gastronomy, I am here to help you and show you the way. You'll be welcome here! Czech republic tourist guide, certificate (12/2010) Prague tourist guide, certificate (7/2011) Czech republic tourist guide - South Moravian Region specialist, certificate (5/2012) No restrictions

Overview of your Brno tour

Brno is not only located at a geographical crossroad. Its location brings results of many influences also in gastronomy. Traditional cuisine with vegetables, dumplings, meat, poultry, freshwater fish or venison, is complemented by delicious sweets: cakes, pies, tarts, or viennoiseries. If we talk about drink, South Moravian terroir provides you not only beer, like everywhere in Czech Republic, but also excellent wine, spirits and home-made lemonades. You can find the best baristas in Brno's cafés. We can start at your chosen time at the selected location, we will greet and get to know each others a little bit better, know about your expectations for the tour and what you truly want to see and are more curious about. We will walk in the city center dropping in the most interesting pubs, cafes and finally stop for a lunch/dinner in a restaurant. I will advise you national meals. Let's discover Brno not only with our eyes, but also with other senses!

We had a wonderful day with Patrik! He was waiting for us at the train station when we arrived, and had a well planned itinerary suited to our interests. He balanced our time walking and exploring with nice, indoor spots to warm up and have coffee or a bite to eat - from an award winning coffee shop, to a restaurant with local specialties for lunch, to a wine tasting with local Czech wines. For our first visit to the Czech Republic, we learned a lot and got a great sense of the city and the food culture. Many thanks to Patrik!

Local beers and best Czech food we have had while in the Czech Republic. Great time hanging out with a local.

One of best tours I've ever been on: we combined food and wine tasting with walking tour and both were great. Patrik is very knowledgeable and enjoyable to be with. We learned a lot, and the food and wine were very good!
