Hands down one of the best tours I ever had! It was our last morning/activity before heading toward the airport and home. Everything went perfectly. Fabio asked my interests - I told him what I really wanted to see and he knew where to look to give me as many of the birds that I wanted to see. I was traveling with a disabled daughter and he was very respectful and helpful to meet her needs as well. Our tour included a trad breakfast which was very good and plentiful. Prepared and served by a kind local woman. I will definitely book a tour with Fabio when I visit the area again!

This tour was an absolute delight. Fabio is an excellent guide, extremely knowledgeable and able to spot birds and other wildlife with uncanny skill. We went to several different areas from residential to park/ reserves to mountain and as a result saw a wide range of birds in different habitats. Being able to see the birds through his telescope was an added bonus and the photos he took and sent to us of all the creatures we saw were such good quality they will be excellent reminders of this trip. The fresh fruit snacks and the breakfast provided were also delicious. I can highly recommend this tour with Fabio.

Fabio is passionate about birding and he is so good at knowing just where to go and finding the birds. We saw two types of falcons, pygmy owls, toucans and many other colorful birds. The Esquipulas Bird Sanctuary is set up so nicely. We enjoyed having the birds come to us and then hiking by the river to spot a kingfisher. Fabio has a great at getting his scope in just the right spot so we could spot the birds. Enjoyed touring with someone that's knowledgeable about birds and Costa Rica. Highly recommend this tour and guide if you like birds. We saw so many birds!
