Hello! I am Hernán, a costarican nature lover, passionate about music, photography, birds and friends. I have done many different jobs always related with tourism, as a certified water lifeguard, as a guide in an adventure park, an entertainer in water parks and hotels, a DJ at private parties and restaurants, Head of Entertainment, tropical dance instructor, children's entertainer and many more. I was working with the largest tourism company in the country and I found a way to study and work, so I got my bilingual general tour guide license in 2018 and became part of my area's certified guides. I started working as a freelance guide in 2021. The desire to show my country prompted me to give my best and create customized tours for my friends and clients in general. I love visiting the Rincón de la Vieja Volcano National Park and observe its volcanic activity, the transition forest, the flora and fauna of the forest, visit Tenorio Volcano National Park and enjoy the spectacular blue waterfall that falls 30 meters where the Maleku natives perform sacred rituals in the past; walking among the clouds on the suspension bridges and observe the majestic Arenal Volcano. I live in the city of Liberia, province of Guanacaste, where you can enjoy delicious meals, enjoy typical and cultural activities, and walk through the city discovering its history, as told by its streets. This is just 15 minutes from the Daniel Oduber International Airport or also called the Guanacaste Airport, and just 30 minutes from the Papagayo Touristic Pole where the largest and most prestigious hotels in the country are located. Plants, flowers, trees, insects as well as people are all part of this great garden called Costa Rica. Overview of your Guanacaste tour
Let's visit the rainforest that's by Arenal La Fortuna, in the canton of San Carlos, province of Alajuela. We're going to walk in a hanging bridges park with wide and clean trails fronting the north face of the Arenal Volcano, which provides us with spectacular views. We'll be going on an easy hike for 2 hours exploring the park along these trails. On this tour, we'll walk searching for different species of wildlife that appear across this huge beautiful garden: We may come across different animal species such as sloths, monkeys, birds and an array of varied flora. Once your appetite kicks in, you'll be able to further the Costa Rican exploration by tasting our traditional cuisine, enjoying in a view point restaurant to reload energy and enjoy the amazing view of Arenal Volcano, before finally relaxing at hot springs with 8 pools of different temperatures and a beautiful garden around them. I'll take you in a unique experience to feel the nature and get unforgettable memories, pictures and histories.
Your Guanacaste tour itinerary
-I will pick you up in the morning from your hotel, residence or any place you request. -Afterwards, I'll drive you for around 3. 5 hours towards Arenal Volcano Hanging bridges Park. -Once we get to the Hanging Bridges Park, we'll get ready to go on a hike across the rain forest and its hanging bridges for two hours, where you'll be able to fully enjoy your surroundings and take pictures. -Later we drive 30 minutes to the restaurant , we'll indulge in an hour long lunch in a highly recommended Costarican restaurant by the North face of the volcano with the most wonderful views. -After lunch, we'll drive for merely five minutes towards the Hot Springs where you'll be able to relax for a couple of hours. -Before we go back to your lodging, on the way there, if you wish we'd be able to stop at a venue to get snacks, beverages and/or souvenirs before getting to your lodging. -At last you'll be dropped off for the end of our tour. This itinerary could be customized upon request.
