Overview of your Arenal Volcano National Park tour
Join me in this tour and let's have a great time immersing ourselves in the rainforest, volcano and one of the most beautiful waterfalls we have in Costa Rica. We will be able to spot wildlife in the middle of the forest such as monkeys, sloths, frogs, snakes and many other species. The view from the hanging bridges is breathtaking! We will also learn about Arenal Volcano geology and history by the time we are hiking the lava flows from 1968. Enjoy a delicious and local lunch at my family restaurant with one of the most breathtaking views of the valley and volcano to finish the day at La Fortuna waterfall where we can swim and take wonderful pictures of this iconic place.
Your Arenal Volcano National Park tour itinerary
8 a. m. pick up time at your hotel or rental house 8:30 a. m. hanging bridges walk (2 miles, 6 hanging bridges) 11:30 a. m. 20 minutes drive to Arenal volcano park 11:50 a. m. hike the 1968 lava flow (1, 5 miles) have a talk about geology and history 01:00 p. m. 20 minutes drive to a local restaurant 01:20 p. m. have a delicious lunch for 1 hour (not included) 02:20 p. m. 30 minutes drive to la fortuna waterfall park 02:20 p. m. going down 500 stairs to find this beautiful treasure ( we will spend 1 hour there) 3:20 p. m drive to drop off at your hotel or rental house * Itinerary can be customized to suit your needs.
