The Longji rice terraces are comprised of two separate but closely located areas: the Ping'An terrace fields, and the JinKeng terrace fields, each with their own villages and hamlets within easy walking distance. Yangshuo lies to the southeast of Guilin and in the northeast of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Since being introduced by 'Lonely Planet' in 1980, it greets an increasing number of visitors annually. The rippling Li River traverses the county and brings it breath-taking natural beauty. The county is regarded as one of the most beautiful counties in China and the local scenery is the essence of Guilin. It is also the termination of a Li River cruise. At Yangshuo, you can visit the Xianggonghill/ Xainggong hill sunrise/On hour cruise tour with the small boat from Xingping/Yulong bamboo boat/Liusanjie show night show/Ruyi peak cable car
Andy was incredible! My husband is hard of hearing and I have some mobility but use an electric wheelchair. He was so kind and helpful in getting me up and down the ramp and onto the Li River cruise boat! I was able to go up top. He graciously took several pictures of us when asked, and a couple of surprise ones for us. He explained sights when needed, was quiet to let us enjoy, and accommodated our every need that included unlocking the western toilet. Now that is service!

Our trip on the LiRiver was amazing, Andy was "the Master", Cheerful, Funny and Enthusiastic. He obviously genuinely likes people and loves his work. His command of English is brilliant. He has a great sense of humour and made the day a hassle free experience. He even managed to encourage me on to a bicycle for the first time in 30 years, for a wonderful cycle tour through the village. Any one visiting China, must see Guilin and book Andy for a great experience.
Andy was a great guide! Our Li River cruise was THE highlight of our entire time in China. We visited Beijing, Shanghai and Guilin and this was by far the best part of our trip. Andy was very knowledgeable about the area and very personable. He even took the time to take pictures and e-mail them to us. We would definitely recommend the Li River Cruise and Andy!
7:30am--9:00am: pick up from the hotel in GUILIN and transfer to the Yangshuo. 9:00am----11:00pm: Visit the Yangshuo and you can choose one of tour that i've mentioned. 11:00pm---13:30pm: Drive to Longji terraces from Yagshuo 13: 30--16:00: Lunch at the terraces and visit the Ping'an or Dazhai viilage. 16:00-18:00pm : Drive back to your hotel in Guilin, the tour ends.
