7D 6N Atacama Desert and Altiplano from Iquique

In the past, I made a living as an engineer, but I have always been an avid explorer, traveler, mountaineer, and cycle enthusiast at heart. This is why today I dedicate my life to this endless search for unexplored territory and new routes so that I can share these experiences not only with loved ones or in solitude, but with other like-minded travelers who share this same passion as well. Although I was born in the south of the country, I moved to San Pedro de Atacama, with my family, around 8 years ago, and I did realize this is a perfect place to begin any adventure trip, because is at middle altitude at the foothills, then you can aclimatize in a quiet town with all the basic services for you and be ready for a trip to the Altiplano (highlands), the most beautiful wild landscape in my opinion. After cycling, mountaneering and hiking for the whole country and some parts of southamerica, I think I can really suggest what are the most interesting places in Chile and around. Anyway, because I love exploration, I will be always creating new expeditions here in the platform, then take a look once in a while for these more "unusual ones". Sportive Mountaineering since 1995.
