Hi! My name is Francisco, but everyone calls me Pancho. I was born and raised in Coyhaique, the capital of Chile’s Aysén Region, and I've spent most of my life exploring and sharing the magic of Patagonia with travelers from around the world. With over 17 years of experience as a guide, I specialize in classic sightseeing, trekking, and culturally immersive tours that dive deep into the soul of the Carretera Austral and Patagonia. My approach is always personal and friendly — I love creating one-on-one connections and offering more than just information: I share stories, traditions, and local insight. I’m trained in guiding, first aid, forest bathing, and local history. I speak fluent Spanish and English, ensuring clear communication and a meaningful experience for all my guests. If you're looking for an authentic journey through Patagonia with context, conversation, and a deep love for the land, I’d be honored to be your guide in Aysén. Let’s discover Patagonia together!

Let's go on an adventure through the cultural and wild heart of Patagonia, as I set the tone sharing stories of the area's early settlers. On this tour, we'll explore Coyhaique’s main square and cathedral, and take in the Simpson River viewpoint's epic scenery. As someone born and raised in Coyahique and with over 15 years of experience guiding, my main goal is for you to finish our tour with a brand new perspective on this frontier town at the edge of the world.
-We'll start with a pick-up at your accommodation, airport, or other agreed meeting point. -We'll then begin exploring Pioneer Square, seeing the Shepherd Monument and old watering trough. -Next we'll visit Coyhaique’s Main Square and Catholic Cathedral, at the cultural heart of the city. -Later we'll enjoy panoramic views from the Simpson River Viewpoint, overlooking valleys and mountains. -Afterwards, we'll head down to the river’s edge to explore the legendary Piedra del Indio, hidden among cliffs. -We'll proceed to stop at the iconic Mate Monument, a symbol of Patagonian traditions. -We'll then ascend to the Luis Marchant Viewpoint for stunning views of Coyhaique surrounded by its rugged landscapes. -At last, we'll return to your accommodation or agreed drop-off point, ending our adventure.
