Hi! My name is Francisco, but everyone calls me Pancho. I was born and raised in Coyhaique, the capital of Chile’s Aysén Region, and I've spent most of my life exploring and sharing the magic of Patagonia with travelers from around the world. With over 17 years of experience as a guide, I specialize in classic sightseeing, trekking, and culturally immersive tours that dive deep into the soul of the Carretera Austral and Patagonia. My approach is always personal and friendly — I love creating one-on-one connections and offering more than just information: I share stories, traditions, and local insight. I’m trained in guiding, first aid, forest bathing, and local history. I speak fluent Spanish and English, ensuring clear communication and a meaningful experience for all my guests. If you're looking for an authentic journey through Patagonia with context, conversation, and a deep love for the land, I’d be honored to be your guide in Aysén. Let’s discover Patagonia together!

Let's embark on a journey to the south of Coyahique along the Austral Road, which whispers secrets only the morning knows. We'll be following the Ibáñez River through a valley once swept by the ashes of the Hudson volcano. A forest of ghostly trees will mark our descent through the Cofre Pass into the Murta Valley, where turquoise waters begin to shimmer. Moreover, one of this tour's highlights is gliding across a vast lake on board a small boat, from where we'll be mesmerized by marble cathedrals sculpted by wind and water over 300 million years. We will have the breathtaking thrill of drifting among arches and caverns, nature’s own cathedral of silence and light. But that's not all, you'll also be savoring a rustic lunch and wander the quiet streets of a picturesque village. By the time we find ourselves in Coyahique again, the sun will have begun to dip behind the Andes and our hearts and cameras will be full and fully wrapped in the wild poetry of Patagonia.
-After a morning pick-up from your lodging, we'll leave Coyhaique heading south along the legendary Austral Highway enjoying stunning views of Cerro Castillo National Park and the Cerro Castillo. -Along the way we'll stop at the dramatic “Dead Forest,” shaped by the eruption of the Hudson Volcano. -We'll continue through scenic valleys and past turquoise rivers until reaching Puerto Río Tranquilo, on the shores of Lake General Carrera. -On arrival, we'll board a boat to explore the Marble Caves Nature Sanctuary—caves and tunnels sculpted by water over millions of years. -After the navigation, we'll have lunch at local restaurant. -Depending on your appetite, after or before lunch we'd stroll through the town’s lakeside promenade and main plaza, and get to explore local artisan shops. -Lastly on our way back to Coyhaique, we'll make scenic stops to stretch, take photos, and soak in the beauty of Patagonia before finally dropping you off.
