Your Praia tour itinerary
- Pick up from Porto of Praia, drive inland to Santa Cruz. - Upon arrival at the largest banana and coconut plantation in the country, take a walk inside the agricultural fields while your local guide explains the varieties of fruits and plants that are on the plantation. If available, at your own expense, refresh yourself with fresh coconut water and sample the local fruits. - Afterwards, move on to the nearby city of Orgãos, and learn the local cuisine with a local family. Learn how to cook the local Cuscuz (a traditional cake made from corn flour) and Fidjós (fried banana mixed with wheat). - After the workshop, move on between rocks and valleys to the village of Rui Vaz at an altitude of 800 meters and visit the Monte Txota Natural Park. Start an easy 10-minute walk to a secret park's viewpoint and discover one of the best views on the island. And if the weather permit, be surprised by the nearby Island of Fogo with its volcano lost on the horizon. - Drop off at your accommodation.
