Fundy Trail and Sea Caves Full-Day Shore Excursion

With my family, we used to go to the city every single day to get our groceries. That was when we discovered the historic city streets and its unique architecture. Everyone used to ask us about the reversing falls but we didn't know why. It wasn't until we went there ourselves that we discovered why it was so famous. The Village of Saint Martins is a place we visit every summer. My kids love walking on the sea floor and taking lots of pictures. All that exercise makes the seafood and deserts taste even better! We loved to picnic by the Salmon River and hike the many pathways around the Trail. It's a lot of steps but the breathtaking view at the end is worth it! After pick up at your hotel/accommodation, we will begin with a brief tour of beautiful, historic Saint John. We'll drive along Prince William Street, which was designated a national historic street scape, and was completely rebuilt after the Great Saint John Fire of 1877. We will visit the reversing rapids with it's 27 foot tides. Next, we will move on to the village of Saint Martins, which is a fishing village, and walk on the ocean floor (tides permitting). We will visit a working lighthouse, see the twin covered bridges, have the opportunity to try the local World-Famous Seafood Chowder. Then onto the Fundy Trail Parkway, with it's fantastic scenery, cross a rope bridge, see a waterfall and beautiful vistas, and watch a short video of the history of the once famous shipbuilding and forestry industry that was integral to the growth of New Brunswick.
