Overview of your Saint John New Brunswick tour
With my family, we used to go to the city every single day to get our groceries. That was when we discovered the historic city streets and its unique architecture. Everyone used to ask us about the reversing falls but we didn't know why. It wasn't until we went there ourselves that we discovered why it was so famous. The Village of Saint Martins is a place we visit every summer. My kids love walking on the sea floor and taking lots of pictures. All that exercise makes the seafood and deserts taste even better! We loved to picnic by the Salmon River and hike the many pathways around the Trail. It's a lot of steps but the breathtaking view at the end is worth it! Join me on this tour and let's discover these wonders together!

Maila was a superb tour guide! She contacted us the day before to confirm meeting location, and noted when low tide would be to assure that we could see both low and high tide reversing falls during our tour. She altered the tour slightly for the Fundy Trail, as she knew construction would impact us seeing the falls. Maila was very personable, knowledgeable about New Brunswick and St. John area. She stopped at many 'picture perfect' stops during the drive up the beautiful coast, seeing the 'real' light house, ending at the St. Martins Sea Caves where we walked on the rocks, went into the caves, and had the best seafood chowder ever! This was an excellent tour!

Maila is a gem! She first recommended some great sights to see and helped us decide given the cruise ship port time constraints. She timed the arrival at the reversing rapids throughout the trip to see both direction flows at low and high tides as well as slack tide. Maila was very informative providing wonderful context on what we were seeing and made a few surprise visits on our beautiful Funday Trail journey. Your Saint John New Brunswick tour itinerary
After pick up at your hotel/accommodation, we will begin with a brief tour of beautiful, historic Saint John. We'll drive along Prince William Street, which was designated a national historic street scape, and was completely rebuilt after the Great Saint John Fire of 1877. We will visit the reversing rapids with it's 27 foot tides. Next, we will move on to the village of Saint Martins, which is a fishing village, and walk on the ocean floor (tides permitting). We will visit a working lighthouse, see the twin covered bridges, have the opportunity to try the local World-Famous Seafood Chowder. Then onto the Fundy Trail Parkway, with it's fantastic scenery, cross a rope bridge, see a waterfall and beautiful vistas. Drop off at your hotel/accommodation. ** This tour can be customized upon request, feel free to message me.
