Bonjour ! Discover Quebec-City, Lévis, and the surrounding areas with me as your private guide. I am available to take you on a journey through history, culture, and heritage almost every day. My TBL calendar may show as "red" but don't let that deter you! I often work with colleagues to ensure I can still give you a tour. If you see that I am unavailable, feel free to reach out to me and I will do my best to accommodate you. What can you expect from my tours? - A warm and friendly experience - A thorough overview of the area, at a relaxed pace - Insights into local history and captivating anecdotes - A better understanding of political and cultural issues - An exploration of French-Canadian culture, including food, language, architecture, and more - Personalized attention and answers to your questions, along with recommendations for the best spots to visit. I specialize in several areas of focus: - Military history - Women's history - American history in Quebec City - Off-the-beaten-path neighborhoods like Old Lévis, Old Lauzon, St Jean Baptiste, and St Roch - Genealogy-based tours using your family tree, if available - Polysensorial tours for the blind and visually impaired. Uncover your French-Canadian roots with a tailored tour, based on your family tree. If you don't have one, I work with a professional genealogist who can help. My military history tours showcase military landmarks, monuments, and discuss sieges, battles, and the impact of military history on Quebec. Each tour is tailored depending on your specific needs, interests, pace, background, preferred itinerary. Weather and crowds will have an influence too. Whether you want to focus on the highlights, go off the beaten path, or a combination, I am here to make it happen. I am not only a tour guide who is passionate about my work but also a member of a local historical society, a gardener, and a parent of three young kids. I was a beekeeper (and look to have bees again later). I worked for the Hôtel de Glace as a guide, behind-the-scene guide and night guide. I've a background as amateur oarsman in Strasbourg. Originally from Strasbourg, I lived there for many years and worked as a guide for ToursByLocals. I then spent three years in Trois-Rivières and have been residing near Lévis for several years now. I founded my company, Tours Accolade, in 2017 and am eager to share my passion and knowledge of the area with you. Certified guide of Quebec City (license renewed every year). Quebec City guided tour diploma from Collège Mérici. Member of the local professional guides association AGTQ. Founder Tours Accolade Quebec. Professional partner of The French-Canadian-Genealogist.

Quebec-city, one of the most beautiful and touristic city in North America. In front of it, on the other side of the St Lawrence : Lévis. Most people don't go there. The few adventurers who take the ferry only go on the "terrace". . . just to see the amazing view on Quebec-city. But how many go further ? And why go further ? If you're looking for unexpected interesting places and "something else" than the big touristic places, you'll love Lévis. Lévis is a hidden treasure, especially the old part. It seems to be "only" a succession of beautiful houses and a big church. But theses houses have stories, stories overlaid in a complex history. For this tour, you need good shoes and to be ready to walk. The city isn't flat. Last but not least, if you like chocolate and ice cream. . . just book this tour ! I can also guide in Old Lauzon if you would like to discover this neighbourhood.
Approximately 4km. Start and finish : the tour is in Lévis, near the ferry. But I can fetch you in Quebec City. We're going on the terrace, then the church Notre-Dame-de-la-Victoire, then to the fresco and coming back with an other way. The tour takes place around the main church of Old Lévis.
Tell your guide which places matter to you, skip what doesn't, and tailor the experience for your group's needs. Not finding what you want? Message your guide to build something unique.
We'll walk approximately 4km. But the city isn't flat.
