Welcome! Bienvenue! My name is Rene and after 22 years working in the clothing industry I decided to make a carrer change and do what I love and I do best: Receive, entertain and guide visitors trough beautiful Montreal, the Canadian cultural capital, that offers to its visitors more than 100 festivals every year, a great diversity of museums, outdoor activities, sports, markets, restaurantes, craft breweries , and a vibrant cosmopolitan way of living, among many other interesting things. I love travelling, ( have been to 40 different countries around the globe), people, food, architecture, cycling and history are my passions in life. Throughout all this years discovering the world, I have come to realize that the best way to really discover and understand any place is trough its local people. I love to receive clients as if they where my own family, always in a friendly and respectful manner and adapting my tours to their specific interest and needs. With experience working with diverse international clients, I understand the importance of cultural sensitivity and inclusivity. I respect and celebrate different cultures, religions, and identities, tailoring my tours to ensure an unforgettable experience for all, whether you're part of the LGBTQI+ community or exploring with family and friends from around the world. I have been told many times that what makes my tours so special, is my outgoing friendly and enthusiastic personality and my knowledge and passion for Montreal. Licensed by the city of Montreal. Certified Montreal tour guide by the ITHQ. Member of the APGT ( profesional tourist guide association). Bike tour guide certified by Velo-Quebec. Covered by group liability insurance (With APGT). First aid trained. None restrictions. I can guide on my private vehicle ( up to 4 persons) If transportation for a larger group is required I can arrange a vehicle for up to 8 persons. I can guide walking, biking or in scooters.

We will start our tour with a good Italian coffee and biscotti. As we walk through old Montreal we will learn about the history of this beautiful port, from the arrival of Jacques Cartier in 1535 to the present day. We will admire the beautiful cobblestone streets full of stores and galleries and also understand why our architecture is so eclectic! We will enjoy a delicious bagel and finish the tour enjoying an ice cream at a maple syrup producers cooperative that offers the visitor typical products of the area.
Place Jacques Cartier. Coffee shop. City hall and Chateau Ramezay. Place D'Armes. Notre-Dame Basilica (15$ extra per person in case you want to visit the interior) Rue St-Jacques. World Trade Center. Washroom stop and bagels. Underground city. Palais de Congres. Point-a-Calliere terrace. Rue St-Paul. Maple delights.
