Hello, I’m Azar — Let Me Show You Azerbaijan My name is Azar, and I was born and raised in Baku. For the past 9 years, I have had the privilege of working as a professional guide, organizing private tours and outdoor experiences for travelers from all over the world. But I have never seen guiding as simply a job. For me, every tour is an opportunity to meet new people, share stories, discover something together, and give my guests a genuine feeling of what Azerbaijan is really like. I am a professional English-speaking local guide and driver, and I specialize in private and customized experiences. I take pride in creating journeys that are comfortable, flexible, safe, and tailored to the interests of each guest. Azerbaijan Is My Home I don't just guide people around Azerbaijan — this is the country where I grew up. I know Baku not only as a tourist destination, but as my hometown. I know the roads, the landscapes, the stories, the traditions, and the little places that can make a journey more personal. And Azerbaijan has so much to offer. In one trip, you can walk through the ancient streets of Baku, explore centuries-old villages, travel through dramatic mountain landscapes, discover unique natural formations, taste traditional Azerbaijani cuisine, and experience traditions that have been passed down through generations. From the Caspian Sea to the Caucasus Mountains, from modern architecture to ancient history, Azerbaijan is a country of contrasts — and I love showing those contrasts to my guests. More Than Just a Tour I believe that the best journeys are not only about the places you visit. They are about the people you meet, the conversations you have, the food you taste, the unexpected moments, and the stories you take home with you. That is why I always try to make my tours personal rather than simply following a fixed script. If you want history, we can dive deep into it. I have received first-aid training and always make safe and responsible driving a priority, especially when traveling through Azerbaijan's mountainous and remote regions.
