Northern Armenia

Let’s take a trip to the northern part of Armenia. Why go there? First, you’ll find some amazing places that are part of the UNESCO World Heritage list - like the medieval Sanahin and Haghpat Monasteries. Second, have you heard of Gyumri? It’s the second largest city in Armenia. In 1988, a powerful earthquake almost completely destroyed it. But over the years, Gyumri has come back to life, like a phoenix rising from the ashes. Today, it’s a city full of history, old buildings, and delicious food you’ll want to try. Third, the nature in this region is something special. You’ll see green mountains covered in trees, stunning views, and even waterfalls - scenery you won’t find anywhere else in Armenia. There’s so much more to say, but it’s better to see it for yourself - because seeing truly is believing!
