We met cheesemakers by Lake Sevan, explored quiet monasteries without tourists, and saw waterfalls and lookouts that felt untouched. Even outside our tour he picked us up at the airport, and when we mentioned we wanted a rug he connected us with a friend who helped us find the perfect one. We had a fantastic week in Armenia thanks to our guide Vrezh. He has an eye for showing the historic sites at leisure, away from the other tourists-crowds. In an unobtrusive manner Vrezh managed to diligently guide us through a tailor-made program consisting of balanced mix of exciting hikes, ancient and sacred places (avoiding obligatory museums) and moments of peace and rest.
