Hello everyone, my name is Valeria; I'm 100% Italian, but I feel I’m a citizen of the world: our planet is so interesting and various, that I think it is a shame to set boundaries. This is one of the reasons why I work as an official local guide: I love to help you discover fascinating corners of Italy, rich in history, art, nature and good food, making you feel like at home. I chose to work as a tour guide for my passion; I’m always glad to welcome new guests and share my time and knowledge with them. We can talk about history, art, nature, or food and wine. As a local guide I like telling stories, but also meeting people with their culture and personal history: that’s what make my work even more interesting and pleasant. I was born in Mantua and after several experiences in other European and Italian cities, I decided to return to live in my hometown; Mantua still has a human scale, thanks to its slower pace and its “human” size. It will be a pleasure to welcome you here! Don’t hesitate and come to visit Mantova and its province; you’ll be amazed by the lotus flowers, the Renaissance palaces and a delicious plate of pumpkin ravioli (filled homemade pasta) paired with a good glass of Lambrusco (a tipical red wine of the aerea).
