Hi, my name is Tshavani but you can call me Tsha. I am a Tour Guide based in Bulawayo Zimbabwe . Come and join me on my escapades as we tour Bulawayo its surroundings and beyond. No place is out of reach in Zimbabwe. You will get the experience of a lifetime that will remain ingrained in your memory forever. You want to see a number of places through out Zimbabwe but not sure how to go about it. You have made the correct contact, I can help you organise your trip and tailor make it to your expectations and more. I am a middle-aged family man with a wife and three children. I love sports and like playing football and watching various other sporting activities. I also like fishing but only as a sport(angling). I am a health freak and like eating healthy and jogging to keep fit. I love Tour Guiding because it accords me the opportunity to interact with clients from different nationalities and cultures and I am able to impart my vast knowledge and experience while learning a lot from them as well. I love interacting with nature and being able to pass on that experience to my clients. I like being a part of the first impression of my country's hospitality. By the way, did I tell you how I became a Tour Guide, I can't afford not to let you in on this one. One day I received a call from a Touring Company based in Bulawayo asking me whether I could cover for one of their Guides who had fallen sick on the eve of a trip to the Khami Heritage site. Initially, I was reluctant but then decided to give it a go. Apparently, the clients had been told that the replacement Guide was inexperienced, to put it mildly. In fact, they had been told that I was a rookie which was not far from the truth. So they did not expect much from me but just wanted to get on with the trip. The two-hour trip ended up taking up four hours at the persistence of the clients. I really enjoyed the experience. We returned back to base and while the company wanted to pay me for the extra two hours I insisted on being paid the two hours initially agreed upon. In the evening I received another call informing me that I had received rave reviews from the clients and were wondering if they could offer me more tours in the future as and when I would be free. I took up the offer and the rest is history. Come to Bulawayo and you will never regret the experience from the city's diversity and friendly people. The city is endowed with a rich culture and heritage as well as an environment full of unique flora and fauna. It is home to pre-colonial states as well as an important pivot of successive colonial governments. It was the former capital of the great Ndebele King Lobengula and in close proximity are the equally unique Khami Ruins and Rhodes Matopos National Park which is full of animals and a rich plant species. It is home to one of the best railway museums in Southern Africa which houses Cecil John Rhodes's antiques. It has a well equipped National Museum in the same breath. The city is strategically located in close proximity to some of Zimbabwe's greatest tourist attractions in the mighty Victoria Falls, the great Hwange National Park, and majestic Great Zimbabwe ruins an ancient architectural marvel in Southern Zimbabwe. The city's traditional food cuisine is second to none and those interested in local traditional dishes will have their plates full. You can also experience the culture of the local Ndebele people from the village tour packages available. All the tour packages can be custom made according to the requirements and preferences of the client. Special food requirements such as a vegan diet and more can be accommodated. Any other tinkering to the packages can be discussed. - Qualified as a degreed High school teacher in History and Geography from the University of Zimbabwe -Holder of an Honours Degree in History and Heritage studies from the University of South Africa -Holder of an Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting from the Chartered Institute of Management Accounting(United Kingdom) -Holder of an Advanced First Aid training certificate -Completed an Advanced course for CPR,Accident and Emergency care -Holder of an Occupational Safety and Health certificate -Acquired a Professional Competency certificate in Computers -Holder of a Learner Professional Hunter Guide's license which allows me to carry out my Safari activities locally and internationally. -Holder of the Regionally recognised Fgasa Level NFQ2 Safari Guide qualification offered in South Africa -Holder of a BQA Level 2 Nature Guide Qualification offered by the Botswana Qualifications Authority -A keen conservationist with many volunteer conservation projects and certificates under my belt -Holder of a Clean drivers licence with many years continuous driving experience -Holder of a valid Defensive driver's licence -Taught at Government and private high schools for about 11 years -Was a Revenue Collection Officer and Supervisor with the National Tolling Authority -I have been a Tour Guide since 2014 to date -I also have interests in Cattle ranching, poultry production, horticulture and run a beverages outlet venture
