Hi there! My name is Jordan, I am a fully licensed Professional Guide from Zimbabwe, based in Bulawayo. My ancestors moved to Africa in the mid 1600s & I take great pride in calling myself a true Zimbabwean. I have personally guided hundreds of guests throughout Southern Africa over the last 12 years! My professional guiding career began with a 5 year intensive period of studies, both academic & practical, which separate & distinguish my content from that of many others. I am passionate about delivering once-in-a-lifetime, unique experiences with big game in the pristine African wilderness. My mission statement for my adventures with my guests in the field would have to be a quote by the renowned Moroccan explorer, Ibn Battuta, "Travelling - it leaves you speechless, then turns you into a storyteller. " I look forward to having you join me on a genuine African safari. -All my tours can be customized, please feel free to contact me if you have any questions - Zimbabwean Professional Guides' License Most stringent & comprehensive training regime for safari guides in Africa; covering a wide variety of subjects from trees, birds, fish, mammals' habits & habitats, tracking, bush lore, astronomy, archaeology, cultural heritage to quintessential survival skills & bush medicine First Aid Certificates MARS (Medical Air Rescue Services) & ACE Air and Ambulance endorsed by the Health Professional Authority of Zimbabwe (HPAZ) accredited Advanced Life Support Training School Certified by The Resuscitation Council of Southern Africa and licensed by The American Heart Association (AHA) Shooting Sport Federation Certificate Zimbabwe National Parks & Wildlife & ZPHGA Maximum Proficiency, licensed to carry in National Parks Zimbabwean Defensive Drivers' License Specialised safety training for individuals operating motor vehicles in adverse conditions & anticipating other driver error Zimbabwean Commercial Drivers' License Prerequisite for operating vehicles 17 pax Apart from English & Dutch-Afrikaans, the other languages offered are complimentary in-house services by my partner who is an interpreter by degree.

The conservation of our black and white rhinoceros population is something very personal to me and a big part of my life that I have enjoyed sharing for over 12 years. Leaving this experience imprinted on my guests is important to the longterm survival of these iconic creatures. The Matobo National Park and World Heritage Site is one of the last remaining areas where one is able to seek critically endangered rhinoceros in their natural habitat, the wild. This ancient prehistoric species is sadly on the brink of extinction and fast disappearing from our world. These massive mammals (1 of the "Big Five") are perfectly adapted to living in this unique, rocky landscape hidden away in the depths of the African continent. This granite vista is a Mecca for birders, also home to the highest density of leopard per square kilometre anywhere in Africa. This particular expanse of land that falls under the Heritage listing is recognised as being one of the oldest areas of constant human habitation in Southern Africa.

Open safari vehicle for the purpose of a true African Safari experience (Closed van optional at an additional cost - must be confirmed in advance) Tracking of rhino will involve mild hiking, however, there is nothing that governs the wild animals from walking further than sometimes expected. But it is always worth the trek!
