Matobo National Park Day Trip from Bulawayo

The conservation of our black & white rhinoceros population is something very personal to me & a big part of my life that I have enjoyed sharing for over 12 years. Leaving this experience imprinted on my guests is important to the longterm survival of these iconic creatures. The Matobo National Park & World Heritage Site is a sensory overload with its contrasting diversity. These ancient hills have been a hotspot of human habitation since the dawn of time. With over 50. 000 recorded rock art sites in the National Park alone, the spiritual heritage of the San people (the Bushmen) is well portrayed, like a ghostly look back to a bygone era. The almost extinct rhinoceros, that once flourished in these valleys, like hidden treasures, can still be found to this day roaming the Park that has now become an intensive protection zone for this prehistoric species. A truly glorious journey through our Matabele spiritual sites, cave paintings & even an encounter with a member of the "Big Five"!
