Hello Everyone! My name is Shodiyor. I was born and brought up in Samarkand-the ancient capital of Sogdiana. when I entered the institute and first saw a group of tourists with a guide who was giving information about the history of my homeland I understood that my goal was to become a guide. In 2009 I graduated the institute and worked as a teacher of English and French at school number 54 Bulungur district, Samarkand. In 2011 I entered the Magistracy (specialty French language). In 2013 I got my Master's degree. After I started working as a guide. I always believe that there is nothing impossible. I am interested in history, art and my city. My favorite route is from Tashkent Mountains of Nurata with its beautiful nature. Driving from Nurata mountains to Lake Aydarkul where I can experience camel riding along with the tourists in the desert and sleeping in yurts. I love very much summer time when the sun shines and gives its warmth to people. And if you want I am happy to customize the tour for you. Please inquire for a quote. i am a licensed guide with 7 years experience. None

Sunset Walking Tour of Samarkand With the sun setting on Samarkand, the modern city melts into the night and an ancient capital from the 15th century emerges. Amir Temur rose from the ashes of the failed Chagatai Khanate, previously held by Genghis Khan’s second son, to conquer modern-day Central Asia and beyond. He made the capital of his new kingdom Samarkand, and the monuments reflect the grandeur and wealth of his empire. On this walking tour of the city, you will see: Gur-Emir Mausoleum where, sadly, Amir Temur is buried with his sons and grandson; Registan Square, the beating heart of the ancient and the modern city; Bibi-Khanym Mosque, named for Amir Temur’s favorite wife; Shakhi-Zinda Necropolis, where you will find tombs from as early as the 11th century; and Ulugbek Observatory, where the grandson of Amir Temur calculated the length of a year that was only off by 25 seconds–more accurate than Nicolaus Copernicus who was off by 30 seconds.
our tour start at Gur Amir mausoleum and finishd at Ulugbek observatory. During tour we will visit to 5 historical monuments of Samarkand there are build betwen 11-20 centuries
