Hello Everyone! My name is Shodiyor. I was born and brought up in Samarkand-the ancient capital of Sogdiana. when I entered the institute and first saw a group of tourists with a guide who was giving information about the history of my homeland I understood that my goal was to become a guide. In 2009 I graduated the institute and worked as a teacher of English and French at school number 54 Bulungur district, Samarkand. In 2011 I entered the Magistracy (specialty French language). In 2013 I got my Master's degree. After I started working as a guide. I always believe that there is nothing impossible. I am interested in history, art and my city. My favorite route is from Tashkent Mountains of Nurata with its beautiful nature. Driving from Nurata mountains to Lake Aydarkul where I can experience camel riding along with the tourists in the desert and sleeping in yurts. I love very much summer time when the sun shines and gives its warmth to people. And if you want I am happy to customize the tour for you. Please inquire for a quote. i am a licensed guide with 7 years experience. None

Overview of your Samarkand tour

When I started working as a guide. Eventually I had an idea of organising one day trips and dinners in the picturesque villages of Samarkand. I invite you to the village of Eshim Oksok which is 15 kilometres away from Samarkand. There a question arises why in the village not in the city? The reason is that you can bake and observe the process of making Uzbek bread in Uzbek tandir. Moreover, you can see the village and the house and witness the way of life of Uzbek people. You can feel the world famous hospitality of Uzbek people. And of course take part in the process of making plov-the king of the dishes not only in Uzbekistan but also in Central Asia. The dish can be called osh or plov in English. However if you have made and tasted plov , you can participate in cooking other mouthwatering dishes of Uzbek people such as laghman, khazan kebab, dolma, gilmindi and manti. Welcome to our sunny Uzbekistan dear visitors!

Your Samarkand tour itinerary

More than a thousand recipes with various ingredients of making plov are known. There a number of whole books dedicated exceptionally to this dish.
