Explore one of the most dramatic stretches of the English coastline and two of England's greatest natural wonders, with spectacular scenery, breathtaking views set amid idyllic countryside of rolling hills and patchwork fields Come with me on a guided walk from the iconic limestone arch of Durdle Door to the perfectly formed Lulworth Cove whilst learning about its global importance in the study of geology and palaeontology. The Jurassic coast has become famous for it's prehistoric remains and rocks that tell a 180 million year story as well as an important habitat for wildlife and a landscape rich in archaeology. Depart the port of Portland, 45 minutes drive through gorgeous countryside to Durdle Door. Walk from Durdle Door to Lulworth Cove (1. 5 hours) 2 miles Some time to explore the small fishing village of Lulworth Cove before returning to the Port via the very pretty seaside town of Weymouth.
