EN Brazilian-born and living in the UK for over 20 years, with an amazing few years in the Scottish Highlands, I am a local tourist guide offering bespoke and pre-set itineraries in Scotland, especially across the Highland region: Northern Highlands, Moray, Speyside, Aberdeenshire and Perthshire. After 17 years of living in London, I moved to the stunning Scottish Highlands region in February 2020. With my partner, I created our private tour company based in the Moray Speyside area (aka The Malt Whisky Country), where I live, located an hour from Inverness. In 2025, after 18 months of studying and training, I completed the prestigious Blue Badge Tour Guide qualification by the STGA (Scottish Tourist Guides Association) to be fully qualified and certified as a Tour Guide in Scotland. Additionally, I am certified by HOST Guides- Highlands of Scotland Tour Guides I also hold a Certificate in Scotch Whisky from the Edinburgh Whisky Academy. I am a qualified driver-guide, fully insured and licensed (person and vehicle), and I host tours in English and Portuguese. I look forward to hearing your ideas about touring our beautiful region. Please do not hesitate to contact me to discuss your requirements. PS: In some castles/monuments, I cannot guide you in some areas within the historical monuments, even though I am a qualified STGA Blue Badge tour guide. However, I will explain beforehand, and almost all sites have interpretation panels and multilingual audio guides to help you during your visit. Qualifications/Qualificações: STGA Blue Badge Tour Guide (2023-2025) Accredited Highlands of Scotland Tour Guide by HOST Guides (2023) Certificate in Scotch Whisky (SVQ) - Edinburgh Whisky Academy Degree in Tourism Management MSc in Air Transport Planning and Management

The Moray Speyside is an extraordinary region in The Highlands. It is located east of Inverness in the Highlands around the River Spey, Moray Firth to the north, and the Cairngorms National Park to the south. With the driest and warmest weather in Scotland, the region is an ideal place to be visited all year around not only for the whisky distilleries based in Moray Speyside but for its wildlife, food, drinks, beaches, perfect dark skies for stargazing, outdoor activities, historic buildings, castles, walking, fishing and golfing. The region is the home of the Single Malt Whisky, the place where the luxury cashmere is made, on its land are the ruins of a 13th-century cathedral known as the "Lantern of the North" and castles that were homes of the most influential clans in the region. River Spey is one of the most important rivers in Scotland for salmon.
Departing from Inverness at 8:00, we will drive towards the Moray Speyside area. It will be a full day covering the main attractions of Moray Speyside - what makes the region so special for us! - we will visit Brodie Castle (subject to opening) or Ballidalloch Castle (seasonal only). - we will visit a whisky distillery - we will visit Johnstons of Elgin - the UK's largest producer of luxury cashmere and fine woollen. - we will visit Elgin Cathedral, a 13th-century cathedral once the most important cathedral in Scotland. Arriving in Inverness approximately 17:00
