Unique Tour - Kiev to Old Romny Town of Sumy Region

Three days tour by car from Kyiv city to Old Romny Town of Sumy region (Romny, Sums'ka oblast, Ukraine) in the North-East part of Ukraine. This is marvelous place well known for its history was founded in 902, in September 2002 Romny town celebrated its 1, 100th anniversary. It was a spectacular event of Sumy region in Romny town. Museum of Ukrainian Heritage, History, Culture & Folk of Romny is one of the richest Sumyregion, and its fund's stores thousands of exhibit items. It's part of the State Historical and Cultural Reserve of Ukraine. The museum tells about the history and nature of the region of Romny. Right outside of the museum, you can see a huge boulder. Quite interesting that it was brought here by a glacier from Karelia 180 thousand years ago. Museum has the following departments: nature of the region, the history of Romny region, decorative art of Romny region, exhibition items of Cossack Peter Kalnyshevsky. This place is worth visiting.
