Hello and welcome! Travelling has always been my passion and, having spent the better part of my life acting out as a translator, I embarked on what has always been my hobby - the eco-friendly and off-the-beaten-track tourism - few years ago. Faculty of foreign languages of Kiev State University I can take you around the most interesting sights of the city of Kiev – such as St. Sophia’s Cathedral and Monastery of the caves, but I won't be able to guide you inside the museums requiring an official guide license.

I will pick you up at the railway terminal, drive you to the city center (or to your hotel - if you'd prefer to get settled first) and show you around the most interesting attractions of the city - the Golden Gate, legendary St. Sophia Cathedral, St. Andrew's church, situated next to the souvenirs flee market. We will pass by the government quarters and Monastery of the Caves (Lavra) and even drop to the WWII Memorial Site. If you are not too tired and we still have time, we can walk around Maidan (the central square) and along the main street of the city Khreshchatyk - to the vista point overlooking the Dnieper river.
Yuri was probably one of the best guides I've ever had - and I've done a lot of guided tours. I was blown away by his exceptional English and his knowledge of the city — but most of all he was just an awesome all around guy — he was more than great.
Yuri is a really great guide. He did me a customize tour, it was perfect, his english is just perfect. Just have good things to say about it. He drive me to the places I have more interest to know.. and he always are preocupied if I was liking it or not and see what he could do to make my experiencce even better. I usually not like to do city tours, but with Yuri I felt I just was taking a walking with a friend by the town. A lot of informations and a good way to explain it. THANX YURI
I only had a short time in Kiev and Yuri filled my time well. We toured what I wanted to see and he also added some interesting visits along the way. He picked me up at the airport and dropped me off at my hotel. Excellent time in Kiev - short but it was as good as possible, thanks to Yuri.
